NOUHOUM KOITA

NOUHOUM KOITA is a Japanese and Malian dance artist from Brooklyn, NY. He is a graduate of LaGuardia Arts High School and a rising second year at the Juilliard School. In 2020, Nouhoum was named a National YoungArts Finalist at the Gold Award level, and a U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. He is an alumnus of MOVE|NYC|‘s Young Professionals Program under the direction of Nigel Campbell and Chanel DaSilva. Nouhoum has performed works by Ohad Naharin, Jose Limon, Shamel Pitts, and Chris Bordanave. He is grateful and excited to be an apprentice with GALLIM for Andrea Miller’s You Are Here.
