CHRISTIANA HUNTE

Christiana Hunte is a born and raised Brooklynite. She began her dance training at Creative Outlet Dance Theater of Brooklyn. Thereafter, she continued her education at LaGuardia High School. During her senior year, Christiana joined the National YoungArts Foundation as a Winner in Modern Dance. She was also the recipient of the Desire Keras (Dancer from the Heart) Award. She is a 2018 graduate from SUNY Purchase College, receiving her BFA in Dance; and a minor in Arts Management. She was blessed with the opportunity to perform works by Shamel Pitts, Kevin Wynn, Michelle Ulerich, and Manuel Vignoulle. She has traveled to Italy to study with Dance Italia and is a recent alumni of Springboard Danse Montreal. She is currently a third-year company member of Antonio Brown Dance and the former Summer Program Manager for MOVE|NYC|. She aspires to travel the world dancing, choreographing, and impacting the lives of the next generation in ways that will change the art of dance.
