MORGAN BOBROW-WILLIAMS

 Morgan Bobrow-Williams is a multidisciplinary visual, conceptual, and performance artist, born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, living in New York City with focus on creating his own work in the form of, but not limited to, live performance, film/video art, music, and collage. Bobrow-Williams danced at Staatstheater Kassel in Germany under the direction of Johannes Wieland from 2018-2020. During his time there he was a part of the creation process for four new works by Wieland and performed Live Art works by guest choreographers Annamari Keskinen and Ryan Mason.For Staatstheater Kassel’s choreographic evening, Chorgrafische Werkstaat 2019, Morgan choreographed the solo piece, HYPHEN. For Chorgrafische Werkstaat 2020 he created a film, STANKONIA3000, in which he was the director, performer, editor, and composer. HHe began training in the performing arts, primarily in dance, at John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School in Augusta. He is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College, with a BFA in Dance Performance, with concentration in Choreography. Morgan was artist in residence of USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance’s New Movement Residency(2018). He is a Springboard Danse Montréal artist (2018) where he performed Ohad Naharin’s Secus, and BIG KID by Mark Caserta.
