SOPHIA WOLBROM

Sophia Wolbrom is a lifelong lover of all forms of live entertainment and fine arts. She has been fortunate enough to work in the arts for most of her professional life, from patron service positions to arts administration. Currently, Sophia owns her own business as an event coordinator and consultant, in addition to her role as the Associate Director of FUNY Standup, a comedy school based out of West Side Comedy Club.

After growing up in Northern Westchester, where she spent her weekends in and out of the city attending shows, she moved to Washington, D.C., for school, where she studied Journalism & Mass Communication at The George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs. Upon graduation, Sophia moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, where she has now attended and worked seven Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. Following her time in Edinburgh, Sophia was based in Toronto, Canada where she was continuing her studies and working at the Young Center for the Performing Arts until the pandemic prompted her to return to New York.

Sophia is also a singer and storyteller, giving her the perspective to understand artistic endeavors both on stage and off. Sophia enjoys collaborating with creative professionals and approaches every role with the mindset of: “How do we go from concept to product, and how can I help?”
