BLAIR KUTROW
In 2012, Blair Kutrow retired from a 25 year career in executive leadership positions with various wireless telecommunications companies including Vanguard/Cellular One, Sprint/Nextel, and XM Radio, to move back to Wilmington, NC to be near to family and help her sister start Coastal Kids Therapy, a private pediatric occupational therapy practice serving Wilmington. Presently she acts as Business Manager. She is also owner of Sola Salon Studios, a national salon suites franchise which enables beauty professionals to own their own businesses by leasing them studio space. She owns two locations in Wilmington, NC. Blair is also active in several non-profit organizations, serving as Chair of the board of Trey McIntrye Project, an arts organization, a member of the University of North Carolina Graduate School Advisory Board, a member of the board of Oasis, a day school and organization providing autism support and intervention services in Wilmington, a member of the board of Cape Fear Literacy Council which provides literacy education to adults in the Wilmington region, a member of the board of A Safe Place, an organization focusing on prevention, advocacy, and restoration to assist victims of commercial sexual exploitation and domestic sex trafficking. In 2019, she also joined the board of MOVE|NYC| a New York City based arts organization whose mission is to cultivate greater diversity and equity within the dance profession and beyond. Blair graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in History from the University of North Carolina in 1984 and has a certificate in strategic leadership from the Business School of Georgetown.
