Join us for MOVE|NYC|'s 10th Anniversary Taking Flight Gala on Tuesday, June 10th at City Winery in New York City. This year's extravaganza will honor ColorCreative (Co-Founded by Issa Rae, Deniese Davis, & Talitha Watkins), Shamel Pitts (Founder & Artistic Director, TRIBE), and Janel Callon (Co-Founder and CEO, Ichigo Foundation).

In celebration of our 10th Anniversary, for the first-time our event will feature a premium open bar, seated dinner, a thrilling mashup of performances from the past decade featuring MOVE|NYC|’s Young Professionals Ensemble and alumni in the dance field today, a paddle raise, an awards ceremony, an After Party with a Live DJ, and more! This will be an evening to remember! In true MOVE fashion, we'll have you and your friends grooving, smiling, and becoming lifelong lovers of all things MOVE|NYC|! We're excited to take flight with you in this milestone anniversary year.

EVENT DETAILS

Join us for an evening of inspiration, performances, and community as we honor our incredible supporters and young artists. Enjoy a night filled with live entertainment, delicious food and drinks, and the joy of coming together to support the next generation of dance.

Cocktail Reception

6:30 - 7:30 PM

Join us for a premium open bar & passed hors d'oeuvres.

Dinner & Ceremony

7:30 - 9:00 PM

Enjoy a seated dinner and performances by our Young Professionals Ensemble and Alumni in the Dance Field. Guests can also participate in a Paddle Raise to support our mission.

After Party

9:00-10:00 PM

Finish the evening with a premium open bar, decadent desserts and late night bites, and a live DJ for dancing.

We are seeking to raise $300,000 to provide increased and enriched artistic, mentorship, and other critical career opportunities to our young and promising dancers through 7 programs in NYC & DC that are 100% tuition-free.
