Blair Kutrow

Director

In 2012, Blair Kutrow retired from a 25-year career in executive leadership positions with various wireless telecommunications companies, including Vanguard/Cellular One, Sprint/Nextel, and XM Radio, to move back to Wilmington, NC. She returned to be near family and help her sister start Coastal Kids Therapy, a private pediatric occupational therapy practice serving Wilmington. Presently, she acts as Business Manager for the practice. She is also the owner of Sola Salon Studios, a national salon suites franchise that enables beauty professionals to own their businesses by leasing studio space. Blair owns two Sola Salon Studios locations in Wilmington, NC.

Blair is actively involved in several non-profit organizations. She serves as Chair of the board of the Trey McIntyre Project, an arts organization, and is a member of the University of North Carolina Graduate School Advisory Board. She also sits on the boards of Oasis, a day school providing autism support and intervention services; the Cape Fear Literacy Council, which provides literacy education to adults in the Wilmington region; and A Safe Place, an organization focused on prevention, advocacy, and restoration to assist victims of commercial sexual exploitation and domestic sex trafficking. In 2019, Blair joined the board of MOVE|NYC|, a New York City-based arts organization with a mission to promote diversity and equity in the dance profession and beyond.

Blair graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in History from the University of North Carolina in 1984 and holds a certificate in strategic leadership from the Business School of Georgetown.
